Smart Litter Box Design and Manufacturing

The design team started with feline behavior—cats prefer semi-enclosed, private spaces. Product Design

Featuring a rounded pebble silhouette with a beige base color and light wood accents, this piece complements Nordic, Japanese, and modern minimalist home styles. The cat-ear handles on both sides serve as both a visual focal point and discreet grips for easy movement, blending functionality with whimsy.

The circular entrance diameter is ergonomically optimized (approximately 20cm) to accommodate cats of various sizes. The spacious interior reduces claustrophobia while micro-perforations in the top ensure air circulation. The bottom drawer design simplifies litter cleanup, enhancing the owner's experience.

The top orange button serves as an integrated touch switch, enabling one-touch cleaning mode (select versions support app connectivity for real-time monitoring of your cat's health data). Equipped with a built-in gravity sensor, it automatically detects your cat's entry and exit, delaying the cleaning cycle to avoid disturbing your pet.

Manufacturing Process

Utilizing high-precision injection molding ensures seamless shell integration and smooth edges. Constructed from food-grade ABS eco-friendly plastic, it offers impact resistance and corrosion resistance while meeting ROHS certification standards to safeguard pet safety.

Internal support structures are optimized through simulation analysis to enhance stability while reducing weight. The cat ear sections utilize dual-color injection molding, achieving both a flexible tactile feel and robust durability.

The shell surface features a matte sandblasted finish that resists fingerprints and facilitates easy cleaning. The off-white hue is precisely calibrated using color masterbatch to ensure consistent color across production batches, seamlessly complementing diverse home decor settings.
